Congratulations to the first cohort of 57 youth apprentices and recent apprenticeship graduates chosen to serve as Apprentice Trailblazers. Apprentice Trailblazers and their Registered Apprenticeship sponsors will work cooperatively with DOL and 303 Apprenticeship Ambassadors to help diversify and expand Registered Apprenticeship.
From this first cohort, the Apprentice Trailblazers have committed to the following:
37 are willing to serve as a speaker at DOL events or panels promoting Registered Apprenticeship
24 will promote Registered Apprenticeship on social media
43 will assist in creating peer apprentice working groups within their organization, community, or industry to promote Registered Apprenticeship
48 will provide success stories and testimonials regarding Registered Apprenticeship
46 will brainstorm ideas and provide feedback on strategies to help modernize, strengthen, diversify, and expand Registered Apprenticeship
44 will help educate potential apprentices and career seekers on the benefits of Registered Apprenticeship
45 will help recruit additional Apprentice Trailblazers
37 will join the DOL Office of Apprenticeship Industry Groups and other activities supporting Registered Apprenticeship.
