If you’re in need of technical assistance to create, manage, or join a program, an Apprenticeship Navigator will provide you the quality support and technical assistance you need. Apprenticeship Navigators ensure that programs are in compliance with State and Federal Regulations, work with potential program sponsors to develop their Standards of Apprenticeship, and provide guidance on the Registered Apprenticeship Partners Information Data System (RAPIDS).
The Apprenticeship Navigator aims to increase awareness of Registered Apprenticeship and aid the outreach strategies utilized by programs. The Apprenticeship Navigator travels across the state, speaking at high schools, job fairs, and any other organized events where there is potential for Registered Apprenticeship recruitment. Serving as your liaison with the Local Workforce Development Boards at the Business and Career Solutions Centers throughout Louisiana, the Apprenticeship Navigator adds and updates Registered Apprenticeship programs on the Eligible Training Provider List (ETPL) and works with the appropriate local board contact in your region of the state.
