National Apprenticeship Week 2026

Start your Planning for National Apprenticeship Week 2026

The year 2026 marks the 12th annual National Apprenticeship Week (NAW), which will take place from April 26 – May 2. It will be the first NAW held in the spring and is anticipated to be the biggest celebration yet!  The theme for NAW 2026 is “America at Work: Making America Skilled Again Through Registered Apprenticeship.”  As the nation celebrates its 250th year and continues its reindustrialization under President Trump’s leadership, the NAW 2026 theme reflects Registered Apprenticeship’s prominence as a key strategy to ensure the American worker is equipped for the skilled jobs of today and tomorrow.

The NAW Resources Page on Apprenticeship.gov features a variety of helpful tools, including the NAW Factsheet. This resource is a high-level overview of NAW and how you can get involved and promote Registered Apprenticeship in your community.

National Apprenticeship Week 2024: Celebrating 10 Years of Engagement, Expansion, and Innovation.

The Louisiana Workforce Commission, in collaboration with our partners, celebrated the beginning of National Apprenticeship Week. Thanks to Acadian Legal Services, we are able to provide employment services to the youth and residents of the Morgan City Region. The event took place on Wednesday, the 11th. Many attendees had a meeting with our legal services partner, and all participants received information and resources to assist them in their career pathways. We thank our partners for their support, and we look forward to continuing the celebration.
