The Workforce & Economic Development Department of SLCC, LEDA, and Louisiana Workforce Commission recently participated in the Industrial Trades Job Fair. The event provided employers, educational institutions, and career services agencies with a platform to showcase job opportunities and services to our community. Our registered apprenticeship program was also highlighted. We are grateful to the sponsors, vendors, and colleges that made this event possible. The Job Fair is an excellent opportunity to promote job creation and connect citizens with employment, thus contributing to the growth of our local economy and keeping Louisiana moving forward.
