The Louisiana Workforce Commission, with the collaboration of Ochsner and every agency involved today, was the official announcement to unveil the new apprenticeship program by Oschner Hospital.
LSU Eunice, Oschner Lafayette General, and Acadiana Workforce Solution enhance their Respiratory Therapy Apprenticeship Customized Training program. The program aims to give economically disadvantaged families opportunities in the growing Respiratory Therapy field. The “earn while you learn” offers students paid positions by Ochsner while they are pursuing an associate degree in respiratory care through LSU Eunice at his Ochsner Lafayette General Campus, and giving the possibility to the apprentices to follow the Bachelors in the same field.
The registered Apprenticeship is glad to be part of this celebration and any future events.
